Subsidized Broadband Over VPN Under NME Project to Colleges

Government of India under National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology(NME-ICT) is providing highly subsidized unlimited internet connection to colleges.

Colleges(degree level and above) approved by UGC/AICTE or affiliated to any recongized univeristy are eligible to get upto 20 connections with unlimited bradband with 512kbps speed.

As a Stake holder in the project BSNL is giving 10% discount along with free installation and modem charges.

Annual Charges For Each Connection: RS.5000/-

Discount Given by BSNL: RS.500/-

MHRD Share: RS.3375/-

Amount to be Paid by College: RS.1125/-
